Description
By a vibrating plate the set onion are placed in a single lines on planting belt to the rear of the machine. There the set onions are guided in the same speed downwards by a pintlebelt to the soil. In this way, a high capacity, product friendliness and accurate planting are combined in one machine.
With this planting system the set onions hardly roll when they hit the ground, because the outlet distance is minimized. Furthermore an adjustable wheel behind the opener keeps the planting depth constant and presses the sets a little bit in the soil. Behind the wheels are scrapers to cover the onions.
In this way of planting the onions are on one line and at more equal distance from each other which gives them all the same space to grow.
This revolution in planting set onions results in an equal distribution and better yield compared to the traditional way.
