Fasterholt Maskinfabrik A/S is a modern Danish company, which produces Fasterholt FM series of self-propelled irrigation machines, these are ideal for fields:
- Where there is a limited number of water connections.
- That are irregular.
- That have obstacles likes trees and poles.
This FM 4900 Hydro is a self-moving irrigation machine. A unique system with FM models up to 1000m long hose. It will roll up by slowly riding back to the starting point, thanks to the “return to home” mode. To operate the sprinkler you need only one person, a medium-sized tractor, and less time than with a traditional reel sprinkler!
FM 4000-series
The Fasterholt FM 4000-series consists of four self-propelled irrigators with a turbine engine. All FM machines are built with a new undercarriage with a strong rear axle assembly, and they all have electronic control. I will roll up by slowly riding back to the starting point, thanks to the “return to home” mode. The FM machines are known for being very dependable with advanced technic. They are perfect for quality-conscious farmers.
The advantage of the FM machines is that they come with extra-long hoses and a newly developed turbine with big efficiency that ensures energy and very low-pressure drop. The construction is very simple, which guarantees minimal maintenance.
The turbine draws an oil pump, which controls an oil motor in the rear axle assembly. This makes it possible to change the speed from 10 to 90 m/hour without further loss of pressure depending on what oil
